On 7 March 2011, CTPECC (Chinese Taipei) hosted the first forum of this year on “Challenges and Opportunities of Penghu County with Current Regional and Cross-Strait Conditions” co-sponsored by National Penghu University of Science and Technology. The purpose of this forum was to gather tripartite experts of Chinese Taipei and discuss and seek feasible solutions to critical Asia-Pacific issues. Chinese Taipei organized four Pacific Business Forums in 2010 with themes including “Cloud Computing-the Next IT Revolution in Asia-Pacific”, “Post-crisis Political and Economic Outlook and Social Safety Issues”, “Asia-Pacific Situation and the Future of Chinese Taipei with ECFA”, and “Counter Terrorism, Economic Outlook and Regional Cooperation”.
